Service Description

Children will learn how to use a range of techniques to promote good health. They will benefit from mindfulness, relaxation, affirmations, gratitude, happiness, compassion, listening, self esteem – confidence exercises and dealing with their emotions , stress and more. We are helping children to flourish and have life long tools to protect their mental health and encourage them to believe in themselves. Exploring new ways of looking at our lives and becoming the most vibrant, happy, alive versions of ourselves. These sessions will run weekly for 60 minutes, for 12 sessions. Each week there will be a “how do you feel” activity exercise, and a relaxation exercise. Course schedule: 1. “Me time” Exploring aspirations and hopes for during and after the course. Looking at stress and where you feel it in the body. 2. “Nourishing ourselves” Being kind and treating ourselves like a best friend. 3. “I approve of myself” Looking at self- esteem. 4. “Feeling confident” Exploring confidence. 5. “Enjoy the here and now” Mindfulness & being present. 6. “What to do with worries” Mindfulness, body scan & listening skills. 7. “We have choices” Looking after ‘No 1’ and being kind to ourselves. 8. “Forgiveness and letting go” Letting go of angry feelings and moving on. 9. “Peace begins with you” Finding your inner ding. What makes you feel special and happy? 10. “I approve of myself” Like and love yourself, mirror work and affirmations. 11. “Creativity is the key” Stay true to yourself and you will do just great. 12. “New beginnings” Toolbox of ideas over the last 12 weeks.
