Service Description

Prepare to spend some quality time on yourself. Learn the art of happiness, wellbeing and taking some TimeOut4Me. A course of four x 2 hour weekly sessions - looking at the demands of family life and learning how to feel more positive, happier, recharge your batteries and seeing the differences this can make to your life and relationships. Plus each week you'll make your own skincare/spa products using natural ingredients and essential oils, to take away and enjoy at home. The course will cover: Week 1 – ‘’Me Time". Aspirations for you and your family. Finding out where you hold your stress. Managing stress. Introducing light relaxation techniques. Introducing the health benefits of lavender essential oil. Making natural homemade bath melts, using lavender essential oil and flowers. Week 2 – ‘’Nourishing Ourselves’’. Feedback from Week 1. Building new esteem. Light meditation. Introducing peppermint essential oil. Making lip balm using natural ingredients. Week 3 – ‘’I approve of myself’. Feedback from Week 2. Boosting confidence. Mindfulness exercise. Introducing benefits of natural lemon essential oil. Making soap using natural ingredients. Week 4 – ‘’Gratitude’’. Feedback from Week 3. Looking at gratitude & happiness. Introducing the benefits of orange essential oil. Making body balm using natural ingredients. Reviewing your hopes & aspirations from Week 1. Each week there will be a written evaluation from the parents Requirements: Large table & chairs for participants to sit around. Microwave or gas hob. Tea/Coffee/Herbal Teas & a kettle. Water Jugs. Flipchart. Photocopies of handouts (originals will be supplied by Debbie). Weekly register of attendees. *Debbie will provide homemade cakes!*
